# Creating a new site

## Creating your new site:

1. Login to your nation with your username and password.
   * If you don't have an account you can create a free trial at NationBuilder [here](https://nationbuilder.com/create).
2. Using the sidebar navigate to **Website** and select the **+ New Site** option. E.g.

3. Make sure to provide all the necessary information in the required fields.
   * We recommend selecting the option to start from a default site. This option will provide you with a pre-configured template to kickstart your new site.
